eCollabDDS is a web-based comprehensive teleradiology solution which enables the transmission of images such as X-rays, CTs, and MRIs from one geographical location to another which can be viewed and interpreted by Radiologists for diagnosis or consultation purposes.
A scanned/digital X-Ray of any body part can be uploaded in the eCollabDDS application from a remote health facility (PHC/CHC) which will be available to the Radiologist available at Secondary or Tertiary Health centre to generate the Radiological report.... This report will be available back to the requesting doctor at PHC/CHC for further treatment. This will help the Doctors/Paramedic staff in remote areas of the country where there is a scarcity of Radiologists. Also, it will save a lot of time and cost for the people living in rural areas who have to travel to District hospitals currently for seeking any radiological opinion.
The eCollabDDS application has an inbuilt web-based viewer to view/interpret images/DICOM of any Domain and Modality. The viewer has many image manipulation and enhancement features which help Radiologists for improved diagnosis. In the viewer itself, Radiologists can write the Report and save it.
